Tullymore is only the second course in Michigan to receive a #1 rating in the 20 year history of the Golf Digest Contest for the Best New Courses. The highly creative design by Jim Engh has golf holes of great subtlety. The generous movements of the fairways and the clearly visible approaches are defined with bentgrass tees, bentgrass fairways and native grasses in the roughs. The moguled, imaginative bunkers carpeted with lush grass create a landscape of breathtaking beauty and challenge. Tullymore bridges over and winds around by wetlands of color and contrast. Lakes lap the landscape and the Shinglebolt Creek winds through the course.
